JAUHARABAD: As many as 63 posts of doctors are vacant at the rural health centres and basic health units across the Khushab district. People told The News that it was pity that even the post of medical superintendent at Jauharabad DHQ Hospital was vacant. They said that they had been deprived of healthcare facilities and had no option except to go to quacks. They said that seven each posts of doctors were vacant at Jauharabad DHQ Hospital and Noorpur THQ Hospital. They added that eight posts were vacant at Nushera THQ Hospital while nine at Khushab THQ Hospital. They said that a post was vacant at Quaidabad Civil Hospital. The posts are vacant at basic health units of Sodhi Jaiwali, Shimar, Roda, 56/MB, Chun, Jabbi Bandial, Khoora, Ochala, Botala, Siddiquabad, Daduwala, Daiwal, Golaywali, Jaba, Jahlur Jamal, Jhurkil, Khotwan, Majuka Nari, Okhli Mohla, Sandral, Shahwala, Talokar, Tetri, Tiba Qaim Din, Waheer, Warcha and Chak 23.
