Khushab Cadet College

The institution is located on Khushab–Sakaser road at Khurra villege in the vicinity of Naushera town in a semi mountainous terrain in Salt Range at a height of 3000 feet from sea level in the heart of a scenic and cool valley of Pakistan namely Soon Sakaser. Distances from Balkasar and Kallar Kahar Motorway (M-2) Interchanges are 80kms and 65kms respectively. Distance from Khushab is 40kms and distance from Sargodha via Khushab is 80kms.

Admission Pre School – Classes 6 to 8:

To begin with, the college will induct cadets into Pre School classes i.e. 6, 7 and 8 for which an entry test is organized at various cities. The entry test is followed by intelligence tests/interviews at various locations for the successful candidates. The subjects for the examination are English, Urdu, and Mathematics. The suitability of a candidate is assessed on the basis of his performance in the entry test, intelligence test, interview and final merit. The date of the test is advertised in reputed Urdu and English national dailies, well in advance.

Eligibility:
Salient features pertaining to the eligibility for induction in 6th to 8th classes are as under:

• The candidate must be medically fit.
• All seats are filled on open merit.
• The candidates must have appeared/passed:
      Class 5 and should be between 10½ and 12 years of age on 1st April of the year of admission for induction into class 6.
      Class 6 and should be between 11½ and 13 years of age on 1st April of the year of admission for induction into class 7.
      Class 7 and should be between 12½ and 14 years of age on 1st April of the year of admission for induction into class 8.

Admission into class 9 (Secondary Section):

From the year 2013, Secondary Section with class 9 will commence at the college with promotion of own cadets of class 8. Seats, if any, will be filled on open merit through competitive Entry Test to be conducted during the month of March. Eligibility conditions remain the same as mentioned above except the age which will be as under:

• The candidate must have passed/appeared class 8 and should be between 13½ and 15 years of age on 1st April of the year of admission for induction into class 9.

Security Deposit (Refundable) Rs. 10,000/-
Note: Security deposit will not be refunded if a cadet leaves the college prior completing one year.
Development Fund Rs. 10,000/-
Subsequently, the fees must be paid before the last date of each quarter as indicated below:
